The first Junior Championship was held at St Leonards
in Sydney NSW in 1971
The first President's Junior Interstate Shield
was held in 1974 at Cross Road Bowl in Adelaide
SA
779 Boys and 652 Girls have participated in the
Shield from 1980 with 33,896 games bowled
Girls have averaged 170.4 and the Boys 184.2 over
the 40 years
