Asian Schools Tenpin Bowling Championship Team Selection Criteria: 1. The 4 highest ranked boys and girls from a selection trial to be conducted during the National Youth Cup on 12th January 2013 at AMF Joondalup will be offered positions in the team. 2. The remaining 4 boys and 4 girls will be determined by a Selection Panel, led by the national coach Chris Batson. The panel’s selection will be made taking a number of factors into consideration including talent, potential, general attitude, ability and willingness to be coached, and is deemed a good ambassador for the sport. The top 4 eligible participants in both the boys and girls divisions with the highest total pinfall at the end of the 10 game qualifying will be invited to represent Australia as part of the Asian Schools Tenpin Bowling Championship Team. If 4th and 5th placed athletes in either the boys or girls team at the end of the selection camp are tied on pinfall, the Selection Panel and the National coach reserves the right to make the final decision as to who will be included in the team. |
